250 gr minced meat or 200 gr bean curd
A canned kidney bean
4 branch of bay leaf
2 Piece onion
A canned corn
A piece red capsicum
A piece yellow wax pepper
A canned tomato
2 piece carhavucrots
2 tablespoon olive oil
A packet Kotanyi Yucatan salsa sauce
A pinch of salt

Kidney Beans with Yucatan Salsa

A rescue recipe for when there's nothing in the fridge, or when you fancy something cheap, delicious and filling

Directions

Traditionally this is served simply with steamed rice, and obviously no meat as this is normally a vegetarian dish. You could also serve this alongside some barley, quinoa or couscous if you prefer, too.
